From Our First Storefront to Building What Matters, Together
Since our founding in 2021, Aboo Construction Group has grown from a single retail buildout in Dublin, Ohio into a trusted builder across commercial, restaurant, and community projects — and we’re just getting started.
Where It Began
Aboo Construction Group was founded in 2021, and our very first projects put us to work for two national retail names -- Ross Dress for Less and Victoria's Secret -- in Dublin, Ohio. Those early builds set the standard we still hold ourselves to today: precise execution, clear communication, and a finished product our clients could be proud of.
Building Momentum in Restaurant Construction
Word travels fast when the work is done right. Between 2022 and 2023, Aboo completed six Outback Steakhouse restaurant builds, giving our team deep, repeatable experience in the fast-paced world of restaurant construction -- tight schedules, exacting brand standards, and zero room for error.
A First for the Industry -- and a First for Aboo
In 2022, we broke new ground -- literally and figuratively -- by completing the first Starbucks Drive-Thru Only location ever connected to a gas station, built in Waterford, Connecticut. It was also a milestone for our company: our first project as General Contractor. It's a project we're especially proud of, both for what it represented in the industry and for what it proved about our own capabilities.
Building for Community
In 2025, Aboo took on its first major community-focused project: a School/YMCA facility for the IFN Community. This project marked a new chapter for us -- moving beyond retail and restaurant work into the kind of large-scale, mission-driven construction that shapes the everyday lives of the people who use it.

Every project on this timeline shares the same throughline: a team that shows up, does the work right, and treats every client like family. As we take on larger and more diverse projects, that commitment isn't changing -- it's what got us here, and it's what will carry us into what's next.
