Discount Rugs and Furniture

Aboo Construction Group is proud to announce the successful completion of a 35,000-square-foot, one-story retail building, known as Discount Rugs and Furniture, located just off the I-55 Highway in South Chicago Heights, Illinois. This project involved the complete removal and reconstruction of the former Toys-R-Us building, transforming it into a modern retail space.

Project Scope and Achievements

The project scope included several key elements:

Complete Removal and Reconstruction: The former Toys-R-Us building was entirely removed, and a new structure was built from the ground up, ensuring a fresh and modern retail environment.
35,000-Square-Foot Retail Space: The new building provides ample space for Discount Rugs and Furniture, accommodating a wide range of products and services.

Overcoming Challenges

Despite the challenges posed by a harsh winter, the project was completed within the mandatory 7-month schedule. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Aboo Construction Group team.
