Aboo Carpentry Team Completes Exterior Work at Andy’s Frozen

The Aboo Framing team has successfully wrapped up the exterior work at the new Andy’s Frozen Custard location in Lutz, Florida. This project marks a significant milestone in the construction of this historic restaurant, which is set to open its doors to the public in August 2024.

The project involved several critical additions and installations, ensuring the structure is both robust and aesthetically pleasing:

• Full Ground-up Metal Framing and Plywood Sheathing: The team meticulously completed the metal framing and plywood sheathing from the ground up, providing a solid foundation and exterior for the building.

• Installation of New Acoustic Ceiling: A new acoustic ceiling was installed, enhancing the interior acoustics and contributing to a comfortable dining environment.

• Installation of 100 Sheets of Interior Drywall: The interior spaces were framed with 100 sheets of drywall, creating the necessary partitions and walls for the restaurant’s layout.

• Installation of Doors and Hardware: Doors and hardware were installed, ensuring secure and functional entryways throughout the building.

With the exterior work now complete, the focus will shift to the interior finishing touches and final preparations. The project is on track for its grand opening in August 2024, promising to bring a new and exciting dining experience to the Lutz community.
